Opportunity: Asia Science Camp - Patumthani, Thailand (August 2-8, 2015)

Do you have Year 13 Pacific Island students who have a passion for science?

A fully funded opportunity for one Pacific Island Year 13 student is available to attend the 9th Asian Science Camp in Thailand.

This opportunity has been made possible by The Royal Society of New Zealand and Gravida: National Centre for Growth and Development, a Centre of Research Excellence hosted by the University of Auckland. 

The Asian Science Camp is an annual forum which aims to enlighten science-talented youths through discussion and dialogue with top scholars from around the world and promote international friendship and cooperation among the best young students of the next generation in Asia.

The programme will include key talks from Nobel Laureates and eminent scientists, workshops, field trips and social events.

Pacific Island students who apply should have a passion for science and need to be studying and achieving good results in all three sciences.

Note that email applications are not permitted and so applications will need to be posted or couriered to the Royal Society of New Zealand in Wellington, no later than 4 pm on 25 March 2015
