Healthy Futures| Empowering Youth as Agents of Change
This conference was designed by educators and health professionals from the Cook Islands and New Zealand Pacific Science for Health Literacy Project team. It was first run on August 9, 2016 at Te Are Karioi Nui, Rarotonga, Cook Islands. The conference is designed to launch the learning module Ko Au e Toku Aorangi: Kai no te Oraanga Meitaki (Me, Myself, My Environment, Nutrition). It is easily adaptable to any setting where students are exploring the impact of nutrition-related factors on health and wellbeing in their community.
