LENScience offers professional learning and development for teachers, scientists and health professionals. Courses focus on strategies required to implement and evaluate programmes that promote knowledge translation within adolescent populations.
LENScience offers professional learning and development (PLD) for teachers, scientists and health professionals.
Our PLD courses examine effective strategies to advance interdisciplinary collaborations that facilitate empowerment of adolescents as agents of positive action in relation to complex social issues.
Workshops, courses and seminars are either Face-to-Face or via the LENScience Connect platform. LENScience Connect is a blended e-learning platform that enables courses that are not restricted by geography and time BUT encourage a mix of in-person and out-of-time interactions.
Courses that use our project-based PLD model encourage participants to engage in determining and testing new or enhanced strategies in their professional practice. These courses are supported by ongoing interactions within a community of practice.
LENScience PLD courses and programmes are funded through public good grants, philanthropic donations, and course fees.
We acknowledge here grants and donations that are have made substantial contributions to enabling our PLD programme (current and past).
